The most important requirement of members is a passion for helping others and a commitment to service.

You must also:

Complete an online application

Be at least 17 years of age

Be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S.

Have some college or related work experience

Attend training, team meetings, service projects, and special events

Serve an 10-month full-time term of service

Complete 1,700 hours by the end of the term
