Career Trees: Planting Seeds in Growth Industries

A new initiative of the Workforce Development Council Snohomish County, Career Trees are visual representations of vital education, training, and apprenticeship pathways and lattices in nine industry sectors targeted by workforce and economic development as local high-growth sectors.  The sectors represented are:

  •   Aerospace and Manufacturing
  •   Business and Technology
  •   Biotechnology, Biomedical, and Nanotechnology
  •   Construction and Trades
  •   Education
  •   Health Services
  •   Hospitality and Tourism
  •   Public Services and Government
  •   Retail

The trees are designed to be used in conjunction with the 2006-08 "Where are you going? A guide to careers and education in Washington State," published by the Washington State Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board. You can view a pdf version of this guide by clicking here.
