The Snohomish County Workforce Development CouncilRequest for Proposal (RFP)for the selection of contractor(s) for WIA Title I-B Youth Program Services For Justice Involved Youth for the period of July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007 is now available.

Letters of Commitment are due at Snohomish County WorkForce Development Council.

Committee reviews and recommends proposals for awarding.

June 27, 2006

Full Board reviews recommendations and approves awards.  Bidder(s) notified.

June 30, 2006

Must be received by 5:00 p.m.

Documentation of Qualification is due for any awarded bidder(s) that does not have such documentation on file at the WDC.

July 1, 2006

Questions & Answers

Q. So you can have a consortium and apply as a stand alone?
A. Yes, you can bid both ways.

Q. Is it a preference towards a consortium?
A. No.

Q. Why is there not a preference towards a consortium
A. For monitoring reasons, one contract is preferred.

Q. So the 40-50 new participants is in addition to currently enrolled participants?
A. Yes.

Q. So any youth not exited would count as new?
A. No, we only count participants once.

Q. For a consortium, we need to submit two sets of budgets or should we combine them?
A. Keep them separate. The staff can combine them if necessary for the rating teams.

Q. Should the cover page be for the lead applicant or for both?
A. For the lead applicant.

Q. You will be monitoring quarterly?
A. Yes, for all programs.
