Workforce Investment Act America Recovery and Reinvestment Act Training Capacity Building

In response to the changing economic conditions and the need for more job candidates to access training services the Workforce Development Council Snohomish County (WDCSC) has released this Request for Proposal (RFP) in order to meet the needs of eligible low-income adults and dislocated workers as well as the overall goals of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The WDCSC is offering public Washington community and technical colleges an opportunity to respond to this Request for Proposal (RFP) to in order to facilitate the training of multiple Workforce Investment Act (WIA) eligible low-income adults and dislocated workers in alternative energy, energy efficiency, aerospace and health care occupations. Priority will be given to aerospace and health care occupations. Proposals are due at noon on June 4, 2010. Any questions should be sent via email to Amy Persell.

Worksource Snohomish County Capacity Building

In response to rapidly changing economic conditions, Workforce Development Council Snohomish County (WDCSC) anticipates that the WorkSource Snohomish County system may soon have resources for rapidly expanding system capacity in the next few months.  While no funds are certain at this time, WDC is releasing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for system capacity building to identify all community partners that may have the knowledge, skills, and ability to rapidly expand capacity and deliver best-
