Request for Proposal

The Workforce Development Council Snohomish County (WDCSC) is seeking providers of out-of-school youth services who will 1) provide services aimed at eligible youth aged 14-24, and 2) work in collaboration with current Workforce Investment Act providers to provide services and other options under the WIA program.

The overall goal for the provision of funds under this procurement is to assist 14-24 year old youth who have dropped out of school and are eligible for services under Title I-B of WIA.

Services should be focused on meeting the needs of 14-24 year old youth and designed and delivered within a holistic context that maintains focus on, and is relevant to, career development, educational attainment, and embarking on a life of responsible community involvement.  This will be accomplished through the implementation of a variety of youth development strategies that are coordinated with the efforts of secondary and post-secondary educational institutions, WorkSource Snohomish County, and other youth serving agencies throughout the County.
